- AUSTIN BYLER Junior Austin Byler is ranked as 48th best junior prospect by Baseball America, and rightly so. - KEWBY MEYER Another one of Nevada’s top players is junior Kewby Meyer. He is leading the team with a .329 batting average. Like Byler, Meyer has also attracted looks from MLB scouts. During Meyer’s sophomore season on the Wolf Pack, he averaged a .302 batting average with 18 RBI, 11 doubles and two home runs. He had an even more impressive freshman year by earning Louisville Slugger Freshman All-America honors after hitting .324 with 23 runs scored, nine doubles two triples, a home run and 34 RBI.
