Update 3:03 p.m.
Three individuals sustained injuries after a shooting took place at approximately 12:05 a.m. of the 1000 block of Nevada St. The victims were transported to nearby hospitals and are in stable condition, according to Reno Police Department Lt. Jerry Hallert.
Officers responded to the scene at approximately 12:30 a.m. and the University of Nevada, Reno, sent a campus wide email warning the campus community to steer clear of the area.
The suspect was last seen running north of the scene wearing all black clothing. It is currently unclear who the shooter or shooters are.
University of Nevada, Reno’s Police Services told The Nevada Sagebrush the RPD is the lead agency on investigation.
