UNR average and above according to 2016 College Scorecard

The 2016 College Scorecard contains additional data from last year, such as graduation rates, college debt amounts and repayment rates, and student earning totals after graduation.

The Scorecard also compares the diversity of the student body of each university. At UNR, white students make up 62 percent of the student body, while Hispanic, Asian, African-American and Native American students only make up 33 percent of the student population.

UNR ranked a “top tier” public university for the seventh consecutive year

The U.S. News & World Report ranked UNR 197 out of 220 universities in its “best of national universities” 2017 report.

U.S. News & World Report compares universities with indicators such as first-year student retention rate, graduation rate and the strength of the faculty. The report looks at location and campus life, including the range of academic activities and sports. The organization also weighs the cost of the university and the availability of financial aid.
