Colin Kaepernick
Colin Kaepernick is one of the greatest quarterbacks to have ever graced a Wolf Pack uniform. With 10,098 passing and 4,112 rushing yards, he was the first quarterback in Division I history to achieve over 10,000 passing yards and 4,000 rushing yards.
Kaepernick was the Western Athletic Conference offensive player of the year twice and helped lead the Pack to the famous Miracle at Mackay win against Boise State, his senior night game.
According to legendary head coach Chris Ault, the upset over Boise State is, “the most important win in program history.”
The Wolf Pack ended the season nationally ranked at No. 11 by the Associated Press. The quarterback graduated in 2011 with a 4.0 GPA and a bachelor’s degree in business management.
Drafted by the San Francisco 49ers, he spent his first season as second-string quarterback. During his second season, Kaepernick became the starting quarterback after an injury to Alex Smith. In his first game, he completed 16 of 23 passes for 246 yards as he led his to victory over the Chicago Bears, 32-7. He led the 49ers to the Super Bowl in 2013, but fell to the Baltimore Ravens.
Kaepernick’s legacy is important to Nevada, not only because of his athletic success, but his activism as well. Even though years have passed, his success at Nevada still brings pride for the Pack and he will always be remembered for it.

Sharae Zheng
Between 2015-16, it’s safe to say that no other Nevada student-athlete was more dominant than Sharae Xheng.
During that time, Xheng was named the NCAA Diver of the Year by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America and was the NCAA champion in both the one-meter and three-meter dives.
Inside of the Mountain West, Xheng helped lead Nevada to a Mountain West Conference Championship that season. Additionally, she helped lead the Wolf Pack to a perfect 10-0 in conference competition.
Xheng ended her time at Nevada with Silver and Bronze Medals at the 2018 NCAA National Championships.

Nicola Ader
Nicola Ader, the German native from the small town of Affalterbach, made school history by earning four All-American awards 2018-19. This feat broke a record set by Ali McKnight in 1995 when she received two All-American awards.
Ader’s four All-American awards is two more than any other Nevada track & field athlete has earned in their career. Nicola was also the first Wolf Pack athlete to qualify and compete in three different events in the outdoor championships.

Jordan Caroline
Jordan Caroline will undoubtedly go down as one of the best Wolf Pack players to ever step onto the court. After four years with Nevada, Caroline led the Wolf Pack to win totals of 27, 28, 29 and 29. During Caroline’s tenure, the Pack went to three straight NCAA tournaments which was the first time since the Mark Fox era.
Individually, Caroline will live forever in the record books having finished his career sixth in school history in scoring, fifth in rebounds and fourth in double doubles. Caroline’s 44 double-doubles is a Mountain West all time record. He is also the twenty-ninth player in the last 30 seasons to post 2,000 points and 1,000 rebounds in his career.
