Nevada was one point short of beating Denver on March 21, losing 3-4 at their second home match of the season. 

Nevada won two of three doubles matches. Loris Zisswiller and Satchel Benn competed in the number two doubles and won 7-6. The number three, Juan Batalla and Daniel Dudockin won 6-1. Matheo Coupu and Delmas N’Tcha lost 1-6. 

Denver was able to take the lead in the single matches. Coupu lost in two sets, 5-7 and 4-6. Batalla lost in three sets: 5-7, 7-5, and 2-6. Two more Nevada athletes had matches go into three sets. N’Tcha lost to number three Matt Summers 4-6, 7-5, and 5-7. 

Benn won his match in three sets against the number four athlete from Denver. Benn’s match had scores of 4-6, 7-6 and 7-6. Daniel Dudockin beat Charlie Miller 6-4 and 6-0. Zisswiller went into three sets with number six Daniel Krulig and lost 6-7, 6-3, and 3-6. 

The men’s tennis team is now 12-6 overall. Their next match will be against Boise State on April 1 to start conference play.
