Snowglobe Music Festival returns to South Lake Tahoe for its fifth year on Dec. 29 for a three -day music extravaganza. The predominantly EDM Festival, located on the California side of Lake Tahoe, will host some of this year’s biggest artists from DJ Dillon Francis to Bay Area rapper G-Eazy.
Snowglobe is America’s largest outdoor music festival bringing in the New Year. The powdery winter wonderland hopes to be bigger and better than ever this year with a lineup to back it up. Festival goers can see performances by Jack Ü, What So Not, Kaskade, E-40, Galantis, Chet Faker, Eric Prydz and many other artists both locally and globally renowned will perform at the three day festival spanning from Dec. 29-31.
The festival offers more than musical performances, it also hosts a variety of snow sport expos and live art exhibits. In between the three stages, Snowglobe hosts skiing and snowboarding demos for snow buffs.
The festival also has 13,000 sq ft. of indoor heater space to get warm and cozy in between browsing the live painting sessions for those that may not want to partake in the frosty festivities. Snowglobe also welcomes local artists to put on live painting displays during the festival.
In 2014, the festival donated approximately $10,000 to the foundations: Keep Tahoe Blue, The South Lake Tahoe Police Canine Association and Christmas Cheer Inc.
There’s still time to buy your tickets. So bundle up and prepare for three nights filled with hot chocolate, beat drops and an impressive New Years firework display.
