A dog sits inside the Truckee Meadows Training Club course during a demonstration of obedience. Partners and sponsors set up tables with information around the quad. PetSmart provided free doggy-goody bags to DogFest attendees. Attendees of DogFest Reno 2016 participated in a walk and run around The University of Nevada, Reno campus. An attendee shows a puppy in training some love at the 2016 Reno DogFest Canine Companions for Independence provides highly trained assistance dogs for children, adults and veterans with disabilities free of charge. A plethora of happy dogs were scattered across the Quad at UNR on Sep. 18 for DogFest Reno 2016. Pongo the service dog stands next to his owner, University of Nevada, Reno graduate, Tiffany Hunter. Dogs of all shapes and sizes attended the event on Sep. 18, 2016. The Truckee Meadows Dog Training Club set up a course at the event for demonstrations of obedience, rally, and agility. Shiny balloons welcomed dogs and their humans to this years festivities to support Canine Companions for Independence on Sep. 18, 2016. The Truckee Meadows Dog Training Club’s course was a big hit for both two-legged and four-legged attendees.
